As a mom to two little ladies, I've acquired quite the bow collection.
I feel as though I've become a bit of a bow aficionado after testing out the whole gamut: nylon and leather and felt, oh my! And I'm here to tell you that Modern Piggy quite possibly takes the cake as my all-time favorite bow brand.
First, their nylon headbands. I'm picky about my nylon. It must be soft enough that it won't leave a mark on the tender head of my newborn, but maintain its original elasticity after being worn by my toddler's 90th percentile noggin. Modern Piggy's darling headbands come in a wide variety of materials such as felt, velvet, and suede. Truly, there is a style and color to match every outfit and mood.
Next, their hair bows. Again, you have plenty of styles to choose from: pigtail bows, over-sized bows, and mini piggy bows, just to name a few! The real seller on these bows (I mean, besides the to-die-for prints) are the alligator clips. They aren't actually glued to the bow, which mean you can remove the alligator clip, and flip the bow the opposite direction to accommodate the part in your child's hair!
Boy mamas, Modern Piggy did not forget about you! They've even created bows for your little fellas. Imagine coordinating your daughter's headband and your son's bow tie. Adorable!
More recently, they have introduced things for mamas into their line. Accessories such as trendy scrunchies, hair clips, and handkerchief ties. I'll take one in every color, please and thank you.
On top of all that goodness, I have personally met the mom bosses behind the brand, Becky and Camille. They are genuinely lovely individuals that you can feel good about supporting.
